AI Baseline

Score scales and what they mean

Each dimension is scored from 1 to 9:

  • 1–2: Awareness — You know AI exists but have minimal practical understanding
  • 3–4: Beginner — You have tried AI tools and understand basics, but gaps are significant
  • 5–6: Intermediate — Solid working knowledge with clear areas for growth
  • 7–8: Advanced — Deep practical understanding, could mentor others
  • 9: Expert — Exceptional fluency, capable of designing organizational AI strategy

Most first-time test takers score between 3 and 6. Scores above 7 are uncommon and indicate genuine expertise. No one is expected to score 9 across all dimensions.
