AI Baseline
The Standard for AI Fluency Assessment
For individuals who want a real baseline and teams that need to know who can actually lead AI rollout. Measure fluency first. Use the data second.
Individuals
Get an honest read on your AI fluency
Measure how you actually think, prompt, apply, critique, and design workflows with AI. Then build from the result instead of guessing.
Teams
See who can lead rollout and who needs support
Assess your team before making AI adoption decisions. Get a clear readiness map — who's ready to champion AI internally, who needs targeted upskilling, and where to invest training resources.
Most people have no honest read on their AI fluency. They use ChatGPT, maybe a few other tools, and assume they're ahead of the curve. But using AI isn't the same as understanding it — and there's been no real way to measure the difference.
AI Baseline is a conversational assessment that evaluates how you actually think and work with AI. It's not a quiz. There are no multiple-choice shortcuts. You talk through real scenarios, explain your reasoning, and demonstrate your working knowledge — the same way you'd prove competency in any professional setting.
The score is deliberately hard. It's calibrated so that most people land between 3 and 6 out of 9 across five dimensions: Prompt Mastery, Technical Understanding, Practical Application, Critical Evaluation, and Workflow Design. A 7 means you're genuinely strong. An 8 or 9 means you're operating at an expert or cutting-edge level. The point isn't to make you feel good — it's to give you something you can actually build from.

What happens after the score matters just as much. Every assessment generates a personalised learning plan — not generic advice, but targeted recommendations tied to your specific gaps. If your Prompt Mastery is a 4 but your Technical Understanding is a 7, the plan reflects that. It tells you what to study, what to practice, and what to build next.
For teams, the data gets even more useful. Instead of guessing who should lead your AI rollout, you can see it. Map your entire team's fluency, identify who's ready to champion AI internally, who needs targeted upskilling, and where to invest training budget. It turns a subjective conversation into an objective one.
