What are the five scoring dimensions?
AI Baseline measures five dimensions of AI fluency:
- 1Prompt Mastery — Can you write effective prompts that produce useful output? This covers prompt structure, iteration, context-setting, and constraint specification.
- 1Technical Understanding — Do you understand how AI models work at a practical level? This includes capabilities, limitations, how training data affects output, and the difference between model types.
- 1Practical Application — Can you apply AI to solve real problems? This measures your ability to identify good use cases, choose appropriate tools, and integrate AI into actual workflows.
- 1Critical Evaluation — Can you assess AI output for accuracy, bias, and quality? This covers fact-checking, recognizing hallucinations, evaluating source reliability, and knowing when not to trust AI.
- 1Workflow Design — Can you design multi-step processes that use AI effectively? This measures your ability to chain tools, automate workflows, and build systems that are reliable and maintainable.
